Gordon State College (GSC) and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) have signed a transfer articulation agreement that expands educational opportunities and provides TCSG students with a direct pathway to complete a bachelor’s degree at GSC.
Through this partnership, TCSG students who meet GSC’s admissions requirements for their chosen program are guaranteed that eligible courses will transfer toward a degree at Gordon State. The agreement outlines clear pathways that allow students to transition seamlessly and efficiently from select TCSG associate degrees to bachelor’s programs at GSC.
“At Gordon State College, we are committed to helping students move forward with confidence,” said Dr. Donald J. Green, GSC president. “By creating pathways for TCSG students to complete their bachelor’s degree more quickly and affordably, we’re giving them the tools to reach their goals, open new doors, and change the trajectory of their lives for generations to come.”
Students who complete an Associate of Science degree from a TCSG college may be granted up to 60 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree at GSC. 拥有应用科学副学士学位的学生最多可获得45个学分。
戈登州立大学和TCSG将合作为符合条件的项目制定建议表,明确列出可转让学分。 GSC representatives will also participate in TCSG events, including career fairs and open houses, to share information about the agreement and highlight the opportunities that come with earning a bachelor’s degree.
“This agreement reflects our shared commitment to ensuring Georgia students have every opportunity to achieve their educational and career goals,” said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier. “By providing a seamless transfer process from our technical colleges to Gordon State College, we are helping students save time, reduce costs, and continue building the skills and credentials that strengthen both their futures and Georgia’s workforce.”
Effective for the 2025–27 academic years, the agreement will undergo annual review to ensure the transfer process remains seamless and reflects both institutions’ commitment to student success.
