戈登州立学院将于5月举办毕业典礼

戈登州立学院将于5月14日星期五在巴恩斯维尔的萨默斯菲尔德公园举行春季毕业典礼。

超过500名2020年夏季/秋季和2021年春季毕业生将在上午8:30开始的社交距离仪式上获得认可，并持续到下午3点。

当天的日程安排如下：

• 8:30-10:00 a.m. – Graduation for School of Business, Liberal Arts, and Social Sciences

• 10:30 a.m. – Book & Bell Ceremony (to be held in Fine Arts Auditorium)

• 1:00-2:30 p.m. – Graduation for School of Education, Mathematics, and Applied Sciences; 护理、健康与自然科学学院毕业

• 3:00 p.m. – Nursing Pinning Ceremony (to be held in the Student Activity and Recreation Center)

“Throughout the past 13 months, Gordon State College has endured the COVID-19 pandemic and continued to provide a successful learning environment for its students and faculty,” said Dr. Kirk A. Nooks, President of Gordon State College. “On 可以 14, it will be a special time to recognize the achievements of these women and men of Highlander Nation.”

“We are so excited to be able to celebrate commencement face-to-face,” said Dr. C. Jeffery Knighton, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. “Our graduates have worked very hard this past year, during unprecedented times, and deserve to have their achievement recognized in person.”
