GSC教授在获奖视频中亮相

戈登州立学院教育学院院长迈克·马汉博士和生物学教授特蕾莎·斯坦利博士在哈佛和史密森尼天体物理学中心的获奖视频中为科学教师mk体育提供有效的专业发展。

The video features how Gordon State utilized a 2017-18 Math and Science Partnership grant funded by the Georgia Department of Education to create a workshop for  third, fourth, and fifth grade teachers in both public and private schools in Henry County.

The video, “Improving Science Teacher’s Knowledge Through PD” was featured in a STEM Video Showcase and recently won the Facilitator’s Choice Award.

Teachers completed a pre-workshop assessment – Misconceptions - Oriented Science Assessment Resource for Teachers (MOSART) - in each science area, to identify areas of need. Based on the MOSART results, workshops were designed to improve the teachers’ content knowledge and confidence in teaching astronomy, physical science, earth science, and life science. 讲习班材料mk体育是由戈登州立大学的教师开发的，其中包括教师带回教室的动手学习活动。
