萨克斯管吹奏家阿舒将强势开启本赛季。  Ashu has established an extraordinary ability to communicate with audiences through his charismatic and emotive performance style, and is one of today’s most engaging and distinctive young artists.

“Ashu is the kind of performer who can get young people excited about classical and instrumental music through his expressive sound and dynamic virtuosity,” said Edward J. Whitelock the Department Head of Humanities and Programs in Fine & Performing Arts at Gordon State College.

Recently, Ashu was selected as the winner of the prestigious “Audience Award” at the renowned International Musical Olympus Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Gordon State College’s theatre, recital series and concerts will feature professional artists from the surrounding communities and across the country. The performers will often meet with Gordon State’s music majors before or after the performance to answer questions, sign autographs or to present a master class.

The fall lineup includes several shows including the William ​Shakespeare play The Tragedy of 麦克白,  on November 6-10. The November 10 麦克白 matinee also offers the option of a Community Brunch for $12.84 for adult meals and $7.49 for children 12 years and under, separate from the performance ticket.
